Day 06: Launch Day

Welcome to all new subscribers 🥳 . In this newsletter I document my journey of building out a profitable 💲 online business as a software engineer. Focused, but not limited to, topics about building a SaaS.

So, what was the progress from yesterday?

TODAY IS THE DAY! EffectiveApe.com is going live on ProductHunt - check it out here. I am VERY curious what that is going to do. I was surprised this newsletter already got some traffic, so let us see! I will share the stats here tomorrow or the day after.

What is the plan for today?

As well as yesterday, let me give you some context. 🤣 So, yesterday I finished up all the details of PH (mainly recorded a Demo video) and did some accounting BS 💩 that I have to do for the llc to complete the month of May.

Then I had a look into MJML which is the framework I use to create my emails. I am thinking how hard would it be to create a online email builder SDK. Primarily, if I could create an email builder that I could use for EffectiveApe that would be swell. Then if I could package it as a separate sub-product for EffectiveApe, then that would be even cooler.

Feel the rythm

There is something about keeping the vibes of a daily newsletter. It’s like going to the gym every day and putting in the work.

That’s why I am pondering doing a release every Monday. That way I will have to make sure my features are not too big and it will also give me the deadline that I think I need.

That is why THE PLAN FOR TODAY is to actually try to evaluate building an email builder. A very rudimentary one tho.
